General Information
County of Los Angeles employees say their benefits play an important factor in what makes the County such an attractive workplace. DHR strives to offer the best customer service which is in line with this perception. We offer four competitive, flexible plan of benefits ( Options, Choices Flex, Choices, MegaFlex, Choices and MegaFlex) along with associated medical, dental, and life insurance programs.
These plans, which are made available through Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code provide employees of the County to select from different pre-tax and post-tax benefits. The County offers each employee with an annual "benefit allowance" to use to purchase these benefits.

- Choices Benefit Plan - for employees who are represented through the Coalition of County Unions.
- Options Benefit Plan - for employees who are represented by the SEIU Local 721.
- MegaFlex Benefit Plan - for eligible employees who are not represented by a union.
- Flexible Benefit Plan that is available to eligible non-represented employees.
Participants of one of the above plans can choose to avail one of the benefits listed below:

- Protective Medical Insurance (Long-Term Disability Health Insurance)

Part-time employees (except students in jobs) who are employed for at a rate of twenty hours per week or greater for the course of three consecutive months could be qualified to be enrolled in the County medical plan. Part-time employees can inquire about the plan via their departments personal office.

Based on the status of employees The County provides the retirement plans listed below:
DBR Plans (Plans A,B,C,D,E , and G) - to learn more about these plans, please call LACERA at 800-786-6464 or go to their site on www.lacera.com.
defined contribution retirement plans The County has three additional retirement plans. Two of these are voluntary plans designed for permanent full-time employees, and one that is mandatory for temporary, part-time , and seasonal employees.

The two supplemental plan of retirement are
The Deferred compensation & Thrift Plan (Horizons and 457 plans) for all permanent full-time employees.
Savings Program (401k) for permanent full-time non-represented employees.
The only mandatory plans for retirement is
Retirement Savings Plan (457 plan) for all part-time, temporary as well as seasonal staff of County as well as the Los Angeles Superior Courts who aren't eligible to take part in the retirement programs offered by LACERA and the Judges Retirement System.Activation
In order to use this software the company you work for must be a member of ADP. You can get your self-service registration number through your payroll manager. The registration code will allow you to sign up.

If you're having difficulty connecting to ADP Portal, try the following suggestions:
- Make sure you check for spelling errors and spaces in your password. (Passwords are case-sensitive);
- Shut down every active Internet browsers, and then try logging back in
- Clear your browser's history/cache and attempt to log on another time. On your next log-on attempt, you'll be required to prove your identity, i.e., you will need to obtain an activation code, then enter the activation code and then answer the security questions.
Notice: After three unsuccessful attempts your login will become blocked. Contact your company administrator to grant access.
Lost Password
Choose for Forgot Password? Follow the steps to complete a series of security questions in order to reset your password. After that, you can utilize your new user ID and password to login for the program.
Lost User ID
Choose for Forgot User ID? then follow the directions to answer a set of security related questions. After that, your user ID will be displayed , and you will be able to log into the application.
What to do if You're locked out
If you have exceeded the quantity of times you have attempted to log in, you should ask your administrator at your company to get assistance.
